Science without Borders

The University of Salford is proud to be one of a select group of UK universities participating in the Ciência Sem Fronteiras (Science Without Borders) Scheme. Since our first involvement in 2013, we have welcomed more than 200 students through this scheme to the University of Salford.

The Scheme provides the opportunity for Brazilian scholars to study at the University of Salford for a set period of time as part of their home education programme.

If you are interested in participating in Ciência sem Fronteiras UK in the future, please visit the dedicated website.

The scheme is open to Brazilian nationals who are currently postgraduate students at a University in Brazil. Candidates must be nominated by their home University and accepted onto the scheme by the funding agencies CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) and CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico) before applying for a place at a UK University.
