Are you a 1st year CSE student and interested to know how to know more about our Women in Engineering (WIE) opportunities?

Are you keen to meet more women like yourself who started studying Computing, Science and Engineering at the University of Salford?

Then come along to the Women in CSE 1st year welcome lunch at Maxwell Hall on Wednesday 25th October starting at 1pm and ends at 2:30pm.

This is an opportunity to meet like-minded women starting their careers in STEM subjects, create networks, find out more about the opportunities and support available to women studying in CSE and learn more about the ‘Gerry Mason Excellence Scholarship’, what it is and how to apply!

The event will include inspirational talks from:

-       Prof Sunil Vadera, the Dean of School of Computing, Science and Engineering

-       Sam Grogan, the PVC Student Experience

-       Prof Haifa Takruri-Rizk, Director of Engagement CSE

-       Dr Kirsty Fairclough from the Salford Women’s Network

-       Dr. Maria Stukoff, Director of the Maker Space
