Why not Give Sport A Go this semester?

Do you want to try something new, meet new people and keep fit and healthy all at the same time?! Well, you should check out the new Semester 2 Give Sport A Go Timetable.

This Students’ Union recreational sports programme provides a range of different sports and activities for you to get involved in, commitment free.

There are sessions taking place Monday to Sunday each term, ranging from Athletics to Zumba. All equipment is provided at all sessions, so all you simply need to do is turn up and Give Sport A Go.

The programme is part of the University Sport Activation Fund backed by Sport England, which aims to increase participation in sport.

Give Sport A Go Coordinator, Andrew Hargreaves said: “Give Sport A Go is a sports participation programme looking to increase sport across the university. GSAG is a great way to join sport activity in a commitment free, non-competitive environment.”
