University of Salford App Store now live
As part of the One Digital Campus programme, we're excited to announce the launch of a brand new app store for students. As a university, we currently use a multitude of apps, from Blackboard to Padlet and iSalford to Kahoot. However, at the moment there isn't one unified place where they can be all searched for and accessed. The University of Salford App Store is about to change all that.
The store will consolidate all the apps used by students and its easy navigation means you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for with a quick search.
Dr Sam Grogan, Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Experience, said: “Creating an exceptional student experience is always a priority for us here at Salford. It’s important that our students can find what they’re looking for with absolute ease. The creation of a one-stop-shop app store is an important foundational step we’re taking towards developing a smart user experience. The app store really streamlines access to all the various apps available and provides a quick and easy way of to find the information you’re looking for.”
Chief Information Officer John Whitlow said: “We’re excited to launch the University of Salford App Store as the first project under the One Digital Campus programme. Over the past few months the team has been working with staff to identify all the apps currently used across the University - it’s great to see the store finally going live. We’re sure it will have a positive impact on our student experience and help students find the resources they need that little bit easier.”
