Nominations now open for UK's biggest student employment competition
Nominations are now open for the UK’s biggest student employment competition – The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Awards.
The awards aim to recognise students who combine part-time work with their study commitments. If you or one of your peers has juggled both work and study, or got some vital experience that will increase your employability then why not go ahead and nominate? Hurry though as the deadline is coming up soon on Wednesday April 19.
Nominees will first be judged by ourselves at an institutional level and nominees, if successful, will go on to the regional level judging and maybe even the final national stage.
A nomination, never mind a win, is fantastic for future job prospects and there are five categories, which you can see here, to choose from giving you lots of scope for your nomination.
As well as yourselves or a peer, you can also nominate an employer who you’ve found particularly helpful for your career development. This could be a company that has supported you through placements or work experience and offered you fantastic opportunities throughout your studies.
