Happy Birthday askUS!
askUS is 1! Since our launch on 13th April 2015, over 32,000 students have visited the askUS service desk. That equates to enough people to fill Salford’s Lowry Theatre 19 times.
Since we opened we have produced over 27,000 letters for students. To give you a sense of what that looks like, if you laid those letters end to end they would stretch all the way from the University of Salford to Old Trafford Football Stadium and back.
It is great that so many of you have been accessing the support you need, and we encourage you if you have a concern or query to contact askUS.
To make sure we’re there when you need us we have extended our opening hours to increase accessibility.
Our new opening hours are:

|09.00-17.00||Monday to Friday||Media City|

• Student print, telephony and computer room.
askUS was designed and co-created with students to ensure we fully meet your needs and deliver services in a way that suits you. In developing askUS, we designed a brand new way of working face-to-face with students and created a relaxed yet purposeful space, the Referral Lounge, for you to resolve complex or confidential queries.
askUS is located in University House on the Peel Park Campus, and there is an askUS desk based within our Media City campus.
