Are you a first year student struggling to get to grips with cooking for yourself? Or are you a returning student looking to brush up on your kitchen skills?

Cooking is, without a doubt, one of the most important skills a person can ever learn but once you have that knowledge, that's it - you're set for life.

SALFOOD Cookery School are offering students the opportunity to learn more about how to cook healthy and nutritious meals on a budget with our short cookery courses delivered by the Salford Health Improvement Service.

You’ll make two new recipes a week, giving you real hands-on experience, and then sit down to eat what you’ve prepared – meaning dinner is sorted for the night too!

The course, which will take place on Monday 4 April 2016, is a great opportunity to meet new people and have fun.

It will run for a period of 4 weeks, every Monday 4.00pm-6.00pm in the Bryant Suite in the Allerton Building.

“If you want to learn how to cook, our four-week cookery course is a great place to start.

“You will be in a class of like-minded people who, like you, want to learn the core skills in the kitchen so they can cook with confidence.”

You can book your place online today by clicking here. On signing up you will have to pay a £10 deposit to secure your place which covers the full four weeks of the course.

As places are limited to 8, we highly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
