Black History Month: Diversity Games
As part of the Students' Union's Black History Month celebrations, we are proud to announce the first Diversity Games on Campus.
We are calling on all students to get involved, we hope the traditional sports day concept will bring all student cultures and students from all backgrounds together, to put on an event which spotlight’s the great level of diversity we have at the University, and the power of Sport as a social tool, to help bring our student community (and their collective cultures) together. This Event will take place onThursday 19th October 2-5pm. We hope that the event will spotlight Team Salford’s (as the University Sport Brand) main participation objectives; which relate to Inclusion, Diversity, thus positively impacting the well-being of our students (at a mass level) through providing unique avenues into physical activity (which we hope the Diversity Games will help to provide) for all Students at the University.
