University of Salford Car Parking

In response to the queries and complaints received from both staff and students parking on double yellow lines and blocking the exit of other users.  Please note the below:

When all bays are full, persons should not park their vehicle on yellow lines, in a disabled bay without a blue badge or leave their vehicle outside an unmarked bay otherwise a PCN (Ticket) will be issued. The University would like to state that the University of Salford Car Parking scheme offers students/staff the potential to park when spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. The purchasing of a monthly or annual parking session does not guarantee or reserve you a parking space, it offers the right to hunt for a space only.

All of this is part of the University Policy.

Anyone who receives a PCN (Ticket) and wishes to appeal should do so by following the process on the back of the ticket. The cancellation criteria for a PCN is laid out in the Car Parking Policy and has been approved by the University.
