Horlock Court demolition

Horlock Court has been home to thousands of Salford students and the centre of convenience on campus, with Horlock shop providing all your everyday necessities until its doors closed in March.

This Wednesday, we will be saying goodbye to the historic Horlock Court when the demolition of the former halls of residence commences. This will last until the end of September and we have chosen this time to avoid minimal disruption to you during your studies.

During this time there will be no pedestrian access to Horlock Car Park and access to Chapman Building will be available via University Road until Chapman Square re-opens. Check out your access points on the map below.

This work continues our campus development plan, which we have recently released more information about such as our transformation of the Newton building and our planned £6.2m investment in your library.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
