Celebrating 50 years of the University of Salford

Next year, the University celebrates its 50th anniversary and we’re asking for your stories from your time at Salford. These will be featured on a dedicated website that will both celebrate and reflect on the last fifty years, and capture our individual and collective ambition and aspirations for the years to come. The content will contribute to creating a digital archive of our jubilee year.

We also want to hear from you if you’d like to take part in ‘365 days of Salford’ – this feature will share a “day in the life” of staff and students from all areas of the University, updated daily on the website throughout our anniversary year. It will capture formal and informal moments in the life of those who are studying or working at the University. The archive record of our 50th anniversary will also feature the Salford playlist – a collection of the music and tunes that evoke memories of the last 50 years.
