Beyond Salford: Study abroad and change your future

Does studying abroad sound like something you’ve always wanted to do but not really had a chance to? Well, let us give you one.

As a student at Salford, you have the unique opportunity to spend up to 12 months of your time at university abroad, studying or working in Europe or further afield.

You can go abroad as part of a sandwich year or as part of your degree. You can go to one of our many partner institutions in Europe or take part in an international exchange.

It doesn’t matter what your background is – we open it up to all students!

Your university experience can reach far beyond the River Irwell, beyond North West of England and even beyond the English Channel.

As we celebrate multiculturalism during our first ever One World Week, think of just how many places you could be studying at.

Spending up to a full year or a semester abroad in your second or third year can be an incredibly enriching experience that will shape your entire future.

You can see extraordinary places, live and experience new cultures, meet people, and just have the time of your life experiencing things that you were never able to do before.

It looks fantastic on your CV and has been proven to significantly increase your chances of employment after graduation and might get you a better degree classifications.
