Another new floor is completed as part of the Library Development Project

The first floor of the Clifford Whitworth Library has opened, bringing the first phase of the £6.2m Library Development Project to a close. Two of the three floors are complete and the project work will now be halted until June in order to give you the best opportunity to study for your exams without distraction.

The work has transformed the spaces, offering bright, fresh study areas with new furniture, lighting and additional PCs and power sockets - changes which were made in response to your feedback. All the stock moves are now finished so you have full access to the resources you need.

Ceewhy Ochoga, President of the Students’ Union, commented.  “The space looks amazing and direct feedback from students is that they are really pleased with the development. I am sure that our students will find it extremely beneficial for their studies”.
