Types of CPD Offerings

We offer a number of different options:

Master classes

SPD Masterclasses, led by experts, help those in attendance to use the latest evidence and any recent changes and updates in any given field, to meet their CPD requirements. We provide busy professionals with essential updates on the latest evidence, important advances and current issues that are relevant to their daily working lives. The use of case studies and practical demonstrations encourage sharing of best practice and interactions with peers and experts, creating better learning outcomes for all, and their organisation.

Open Courses

Varying in length from a single day to a period of several months, our range of open courses cover every imaginable subject matter, and are always designed with the work place and the need for a positive outcome in mind. Through a mixture of up to date information and practical activity, all those who attend any of our open courses return to the workplace with “new” tools, which if implemented correctly, can prove beneficial to the workings of the organisation.

Work-Based Study Days

The University of Salford has an exceptional array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that are both nationally and internationally renowned. Each year, we release numerous modules that interested parties are able to sign-up for without the need to complete a whole degree.

Bespoke Training

From an initial training analysis to delivery and comprehensive support, we can help your staff excel and drive your business forward. Our dedicated team can design and deliver the training and support that you need to help your staff excel and drive your organisation forward.

On-line training

Online training is an exciting new area of Training from SPD, and is ideal for those who are restricted by time, geography or budget. This delivery method helps us bring the same quality training courses to a wider audience in an inexpensive and efficient way.
Participating in online training is a simple process. Our on-line training takes place within a virtual class room. All you need is a PC/laptop, internet access and a headset or speakers.  Once you are connected and the event has started, you will be able to see the presentation, hear the presenter and ask questions through an onscreen chat window.

The training is live, online and interactive. All those signed up have the opportunity to ask questions through the onscreen chat window. You can log in to the event from anywhere in the world. Finally, you can train a whole department at one time, without anyone needing to leave their desk.
