This course is helpful for anyone working in the healthcare profession who is involved in written correspondence responding to feedback, comments and complaints.
The content has been specifically designed to work as an introduction to those working in the area for the first time, or for those who want to refresh, review and check their skills to ensure alignment with current good practice.
The day is modular, with sessions on planning, organising, writing, editing and reviewing information with the chance for lively discussion and debate throughout.
About the tutor:
Susan Calthorpe has worked with a wide range of organisations, helping staff at every level to embrace and enjoy writing for a range of readers. She has written for a living for more than 30 years, and has trained in the subject she loves since 2013.
She works across the public and private sector with clients including Legal & General, the Gambling Commission, the States of Jersey, the Law Society, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Central Manchester NHS Trust, South Wales Police, the London Fire Brigade, UK Power Networks and the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy.
She trains in the UK and overseas, with recent courses in Qatar, India, Kenya, France, Bangladesh and Ethiopia.
