The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) represents the biggest shakeup of data protection laws in 20 years, with major implications for the way educations providers collect and store information.
Stricter requirements around transparency, customer opt-ins and reporting data breaches, together with increased powers for regulators, mean there are serious consequences for schools, colleges and universites who fail to comply with the new regulations.
Specifically designed to address issues in the education sector, this comprehensive one-day course will equip you and your team with the essential knowledge to comply with the new data privacy laws. Learn how to identify potential risks, plan and allocate appropriate resources and take vital information back to tour organization.
The workshop builds on practical examples from education and is designed to provide delegates with the information, an electronic resource kit and the soft skills necessary to implement the new laws within your organisation.
