What is a chartered manager?
This undergraduate programme is designed to develop management capability and responsibility for people, projects, operations and/or services to deliver long term organisational success. It provides professional recognition of an ability to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate commitment to continual learning and development.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and employers to equip aspirational and developing managers with the knowledge and skills to become a confident management professional.
How is it delivered?
There are two distinct components to the degree apprenticeship – the academic degree programme and the work-based assessment. The core curriculum focuses on organisational performance, personal effectiveness, and project and transferable skills.
The programme uses a blended delivery model. Combining off-site training for one day per week with supported work-based learning.
This is a three year programme with a minimum of 20% off -the-job training.The programme uses a blended delivery model.
