About the Role

Role Detail

The Sponsorship Sales Executive position is suited to an individual with a passion for user experience. They will have knowledge and experience in telephone and email communications ideally in the events industry and work cross-functionally to manage up to 4 conferences each month– utilising the Adelphi House building on site, across The University of Salford campus and external venues.

The Sponsorship Sales Executive is an important member of the team sourcing potential sponsors achieving the targets They will influence the chances of event success by providing and confirming sponsorship at various venues They will work to deliver continuous improvements to customer experience and add value through innovation.

The candidate will also manage client relationships with Sponsors and delegate attending to match forecasts and quality required.

High levels of organisation, attention to detail, exceptional customer service and time management skills are all essential requirements of this demanding role.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Sponsorship Sales Executive role is to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Take a hands-on approach to provide the correct amount of sponsors at all conferences, , troubleshooting day to day challenges and presenting solutions to customer requirements.
  • Set, communicate and priorities in accordance with team KPIs ensuring tasks are, completed and escalated to avoid issues in advance of the event
  • Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery working with the Conference Manager to processes to receive better customer service feedback
  • Ensure Bright Office is accurate and up to date
  • Work to establish delivery support requirements and assist in implementing any changes/ new directives to delegates in advance and helping with registration when required at each event.
  • Provide excellent customer service on the day of each conference.
  • Ensure data is entered correctly
