The Sponsorship Sales Executive position is suited to an individual with a passion for user experience. They will have knowledge and experience in telephone and email communications ideally in the events industry and work cross-functionally to manage up to 4 conferences each month– utilising the Adelphi House building on site, across The University of Salford campus and external venues.
The Sponsorship Sales Executive is an important member of the team sourcing potential sponsors achieving the targets They will influence the chances of event success by providing and confirming sponsorship at various venues They will work to deliver continuous improvements to customer experience and add value through innovation.
The candidate will also manage client relationships with Sponsors and delegate attending to match forecasts and quality required.
High levels of organisation, attention to detail, exceptional customer service and time management skills are all essential requirements of this demanding role.
The Sponsorship Sales Executive role is to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

The following are detailed attributes required for the role of Delegate Acquisition Executive.
The successful candidate should have:
A, I, P, T
Experience in self generating leads which in turn convert into sales for allocated conferences. Experience on LinkedIn, Excel, Word and excellent telephone manner.
Ability to communicate at executive levels and pay close attention to details
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
Background and Experience
Driven to achieve targets within agreed timeframes
Communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Excellent customer service/relations including conflict resolution
Experience providing organisation and methods of completing correspondence tasks.
Demonstrable track record of Key Account Management
The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge of:
Communication with senior level delegates in all industries.
Knowledge and understanding of the type of Sponsors required
Social media marketing skills to assist in the promotion of products and services
Skills and Competencies
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
Be a confident communicator, and engage in helping other colleagues at events
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases (Microsoft Office)
Enthusiasm and a creative approach to events
Excellent interpersonal skills
Organisational and time management skills – ability to work to strict deadlines
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, with meticulous attention to detail
A willingness and ability to work flexibly and also as part of a team
Desire to contribute effectively to continue success/development of SPD and its quality and CRM systems
Able to work in the UK
