Salford Professional Development are seeking an experienced database executive with essential Microsoft Excel skills to take ownership of the organisation’s data and compliance procedures.
The role holder will be responsible for facilitating the usage of the databases across the organisation, whilst also maintaining, cleaning and analysing the database and performing tasks and audits to ensure we remain GDPR compliant.

The Conference Producer position is suited to an individual with strong commercial acumen and a passion for creative writing, public affairs and government policy, they will be responsible for creating and delivering a portfolio of successful and commercially viable events, from producing the concept right through to finalising the agenda, speaker line-up and on the day management of clients and speakers.
They will develop strategic relationships with key staff at the university and our network of industry associates, engaging and collaborating with them in order to design, market and promote events that align with our core offering. It is vital they have knowledge and experience in the conference and events industry and work cross- functionally with the sales and marketing departments to continuously improve existing events along with identifying market opportunities.
The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational, research and writing skills with a strong attention to detail. They will be professional, dynamic and able to quickly identify commercial opportunities and industry angles in order to develop new conferences to meet the changing needs of the market. Importantly, they will be a strong communicator with the confidence to build and foster relationships with key strategic partners and stakeholders.

The Sponsorship Sales Executive position is suited to an individual with a passion for user experience. They will have knowledge and experience in telephone and email communications ideally in the events industry and work cross-functionally to manage up to 4 conferences each month– utilising the Adelphi House building on site, across The University of Salford campus and external venues.

You will be working as part of a successful, dynamic and proactive sales team in a vibrant office environment. Your primary focus is to develop new customer relationships through a consultative sales method which qualifies an understanding of the benefits that can be achieved through training and learning programmes.
This is primarily a telephone and email position involving profiling of accounts, meeting generation and prospect building. The role will involve an account management element and depending on the success level of each sales person, lead into a more external client facing position managing a portfolio of key accounts.
