Course Summary

You can take this course as a single module for continuing professional development or as part of our MSc Trauma and Orthopaedics course.

This module will enable you to develop professional business awareness and acumen and implement this in current or future healthcare practice.

Entry Requirements

Registered professional working in health care with a graduate or graduate equivalent.

Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)

We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.

The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.

Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language you must provide evidence of proficiency in English - IELTS 6.5 band score or above are proof of this.

Suitable For

This module is aimed at a wide range of health professionals including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, chiropractors, strength and conditioning coaches, complementary therapists, reflexologists, osteopaths and nurses.

This module is delivered using a range of blended learning approaches including online study, interactive seminars. There will also be keynote lectures and presentations, peer review and tutor support.
