Mentorship scheme

The mentorship scheme is offered to provide informal meetings to support the members within their roles within this university and for their future careers. The scheme aims to provide ECRs with more personal support beyond the scope of the Personal Development Review (PDR) process and matches each researcher with an experienced research mentor.  Mentors are volunteers from within the School of Health Science to provide direct advice relating to choices around the research aspect of the mentees role and career. The recommendation is one hour meeting per quarter between mentor and mentee, but this is up to the colleagues and will depend on the requirements of the ECR.
