Programme Approval, Amendment, Review and Withdrawal

The Quality and Enhancement Office oversees the implementation of the University's Programme Design, Approval, Amendment, Review and Withdrawal Policy.

The new policy includes a section on considering Home Office Visas and Immigration rules in programme design. This is an important section that should be reviewed by all staff. A simple checklist has been devised to help programme teams decide on the suitability for international students and can be found here.

This is the mechanism where programmes at the University are created and reviewed in line with the UK Quality Code, published by the Quality Assurance Agency, as well as other internal and external standards.

In this area of our site, you will be able to find details of how we implement the Quality Code at the University and how we ensure our programmes are current, academically rigourous and fit for purpose.
