Course Summary
This module will provide you with a rigorous theoretical and evidence based introduction to using Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy with children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties or disorder.
It will enable you to further develop cognitive behaviour therapy knowledge and skills for the practical application of working with children, young people and their parents/carers. Supporting you to understand the developmental, clinical, legal and ethical considerations and adaptations required when working with children and young people.
It will enable you to critically discuss and apply the research evidence for using Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy interventions with children, young people, and their carers, within your own working context.
