Tutor Information - Dr Brian McGarrie - Senior Lecturer in Operations Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management
Brian has over 20 years of experience in teaching Executive Education and MBA Programmes Risk and Crisis Management, Operations Management, Procurement, and Global Supply Chain Management. He has recently taught executive students in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Jordan, and Zambia and worked with Airbus on their World Class Leaders Programme.
Brian joined Salford Business School in January 2013 having previously worked most recently at Lancaster University Management School. He has also held various MBA Director Roles at Salford Business School, Nottingham Business School, Durham Business School, Leeds Business School and Newcastle University Business School.
He has extensive experience in the development of Distance Learning, Technology-Enhanced Learning and Blended Learning. He has also worked as a consultant and advisor to the Scottish Government and to a large number of companies. He holds a Doctorate in the implementation of production planning and control systems within SMEs.
