NOA Performance Management for Outsourcing
The focus of this workshop is Performance Management in outsourcing arrangements. The workshop will consider and clarify the purpose and value of effective performance management.
The session looks into using Balanced Scorecards, KPIs and SLAs and ways of ensuring metrics are effective will be covered. Managing performance issues that inevitably arise will be discussed, including the benefits, limitations and alternatives to service credits. There will also be a session on the particular challenges of managing performance of offshore operations.
The workshop should be attended by anyone who contributes to the design, delivery or management of sourcing strategies.

Course Facilitator - Phil Meadows
Phil Meadows is an NOA facilitator and a specialist in outsourcing and delivering large scale IT based managed services projects, typically encompassing transition, transformation and ongoing running of critical IT services.
He has led and managed a number of strategic projects and accounts, whilst working for large blue chip organisations e.g. IBM and HP, focusing on business change, transition, transformation, delivery of services, meeting customer expectations and developing long term partnerships. He has an in-depth understanding of outsourcing from the providers’ viewpoint and is able to translate this insight to help buy-side organisations more effectively negotiate and manage their relationships with providers.
Phil has more than 20 years’ experience in industry covering technical and commercial roles, including design engineering, project management, account management, sales and business leadership. He completed a Technical Apprenticeship, a B.Sc. (Hons) in Combined Engineering Studies and achieved Chartered Aeronautical Engineer Status in 1993.
