The Measuring Walking course equips clinicians and researchers to make high quality laboratory-based measurements of human walking, as well as biomechanical interpretations of the results.
The Measuring Walking clinical gait analysis course focuses on the capture of kinematic and kinetic data, using marker-based tracking systems. Electromyography, pedobarography, oxygen consumption studies and physical examination will also be covered throughout the training.

The Measuring Walking course is led by Professor Richard Baker and is designed to reinforce and expand upon what he has written in his recent text book Measuring Walking – A Handbook of Clinical Gait Analysis. You can read his blog here.
Professor Baker has a strong history of teaching gait analysis techniques and the most recent course, Clinical Gait Analysis – an Impairment Focussed Approach, attracted delegates from four continents, who gave extremely positive feedback.
An e-manual is being prepared for the course and you can preview this here.
