ECG Reporting Workshop
The ECG Reporting Workshop has been designed and delivered by Mark McDade, a prominent Nuclear Medicine Technologist working in Glasgow. The course is endorsed by the British Nuclear Medicine Society and the University of the West Coast of England and it is very well aligned to the Cardiac Stress Leader Course that is part of the Screening and Diagnosis module of Advanced Medical Imaging.
The IPEM ECG Reporting Workshop is an intensive one day training scheme aimed specifically at Technologists, Radiographers and the Nuclear Medicine Practitioner. Students are taught a standardised approach to interpreting every ECG which doubles as a framework for reporting. The course aims to deliver the core skills necessary to create salient twelve lead ECG reports.
The course consists of an essential Pre-Workshop activity; additional pre-course reading is suggested. It is expected that students will read, understand and complete a test at the end of the Pre-Workshop module before attending the CPD event.
