Ben Kibler - Ben is an orthopaedic surgeon. He is medical director of the Lexington Clinic Sports Medicine Center, Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He belongs to the following organisations: American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons; American Orthopedic Association; American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine; American College of Sports Medicine; American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons; Society for Tennis Medicine and Science; International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Sports Medicine. His clinical interests are: evaluation, surgical and non-surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle; injury prevention by understanding the biomechanics underlying sports activity and devising preventive conditioning programmes. Research interests are: biomechanics of shoulder, elbow, and knee function and dysfunction; kinematics of the scapula in function and dysfunction; scientific basis of shoulder and elbow rehabilitation protocols.
Robin Cromwell - Robin Cromwell has served as a physical therapist with the Lexington Clinic since 1989. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the kinetic chain approach to shoulder rehabilitation which addresses the position, motion, and control of the scapula through the incorporation of trunk, hip, and leg motion during therapeutic exercise. She is co-architect of the Lexington Clinic Orthopedic-Sports Medicine post-operative shoulder rehabilitation guidelines. Robin has delivered numerous presentations and workshops on functional shoulder rehabilitation at various venues. She has also served as a guest lecturer throughout the United States and in Italy.
This expertly delivered scapula course is aimed at practicing professionals, including those of the following professions:
