Salford Institute for Dementia International Conference 2015 - Call for Abstracts and Delegates

Call for abstracts

We invite abstracts for posters, or 30 minute oral presentations addressing the conference themes. Posters may be visual in style, but should aim to use the medium to best effect. Abstracts must address an aspect of ethics or human rights around the conference themes.

Abstracts for both types of contributions should be no more than 400 words.

  • They must describe research, scholarship, best practice, innovation, or personal experience.
  • They should clearly indicate which of the conference themes they relate to. 
  • They should be written in English and should be free from abbreviations or jargon. 
  • Abstracts should include the name, affiliation and email address of the main correspondent.

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is midnight June 12th 2015. Abstracts will be reviewed blind and selected by an appropriately experienced mixed group of those affected by, researching about or working in the field of dementia care. 


Correspondents for those abstracts selected will be notified by dementiahumanrightsconf-com@salford.ac.uk

Conference Registration

It is expected that at least one person will register for the conference to present posters or concurrent presentations.
