Salford Business School
Salford Professional Development and Salford Business School have a close working relationship in several areas.
We have worked in collaboration to develop exceptional training programmes to the Business, Media and Further and Higher Education sectors. The programmes are delivered by academic experts and industry insiders, offering a mix of both academic and hands on development.
Salford Professional Development is also involved in organising and promoting many Salford Business School events to increase student numbers across all post-graduate programmes, particularly the Salford MBA.
Salford Business School won the Business School of the Year title at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards 2014. This was in recognition of its sector-leading work in supporting small and medium-sized businesses and offering students innovative industry experiences.
The National Education Trust (NET)
The National Education Trust (NET) is a registered charity, and is the UK’s leading education ‘do-tank’ with a proven track-record of influencing national policy and practice. The Trust is an independent foundation leading and promoting excellent practice in education. It brings extensive international and national experience to bear upon improvements for learners, from early years to university entrance.
The Trust assists education leaders and practitioners in sustaining success and tackling underperformance through an extensive programme of in-service training.
Salford Professional Development and the National Education Trust have combined resources to establish a Centre for Educational Excellence, based in MediaCity, Salford Quays.
