PMI2: Developing global nursing education
Developing online joint evidence based teaching and learning resource.
Funded by the British Council PMI2 scheme: Developing strategic working partnerships with Fujian Medical University. Literature reviews will enable development of online joint evidence based teaching and learning resources and flexible module or curriculum development to inform nurse education for global citizenship needs.
Project outcomes will enhance nursing employability in the international context: fostering entrepreneurial and creative skills required for nursing at a time of socio economic change: and nurture nursing curriculum that reflect global issues.

PMI2: Establishing strategic nurse education partnerships
Promoting employability, entrepreneurship and global citizenship.
Funded by the British Council PMI2 scheme: Establishing partnerships between the University of Salford and key networks of Chinese universities in specific disciplinary areas and relevant professional bodies to promote employability, entrepreneurship and global citizenship.

EmpNURS
Developing, implementing and evaluating the introduction of mentorship programmes. See EmpNURS website.
As a result of work undertaken by Professor Tony Warne with colleagues at the University of Turku Finland and other EU countries, funding was awarded for a project to develop, implement and evaluate the introduction of mentorship programmes into 4 new EU countries.
The role of the University of Salford is to evaluate the overall implementation of the project through ongoing engagement with the various Work Package teams and also engage in supporting the evidence-based development of the mentorship programme and its implementation. Karen Holland, Research Fellow will be working with Professor Warne in the management of the Salford University Work package.
