Alison is a Podiatrist by background,  joined Salford in 1984, is Director and also Dean of the Faculty of Undergraduate Education of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and also an HCPC Partner.

Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Fellow in Podiatric Medicine and General Practice at the College of Podiatrists.
