I joined the University of Salford in June 1995 as a lecturer. Prior to this, I had been a lecturer at Swansea University 1992-1995.

My academic interests focus on nursing with particular emphasis on sociology, psychology and philosophy. I teach on the School’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.

My interests are varied and include cultural aspects of health and illness. Phenomenological aspects of well being.
