1976 - Qualified as a RN in Newcastle Upon Tyne

1977-  Obtained commission with QARANC and served in the South West and Germany.

1979 - Ward Sister at Wythenshawe Hospital

1980 – District Nursing Sister  Bolton

1981 – Specialist Practitioner District Nursing

1993 – Senior Sister Bolton Hospice

2000 – Practice Development Sister St Ann’s Hospice/ Lecturer Practitioner University of Salford
