Biography
Following 11 years of nursing practice in the role of a qualified nurse, I have worked as a lecturer and now senior lecturer within the University of Salford since 2000. At present I am programme leader for the Diploma/Ordinary degree in nursing and co leader of clinical skills. I have linked with the Royal Bolton Hospital trust since my appointment to the university in the capacity of University Link Lecturer and for the last five years I have linked with the Universidad de Cordoba in Spain supporting both students from Salford and students from Cordoba during their international placements.
Teaching
At present I teach across both the Pre registration Diploma in nursing and BSc Nursing programme teaching a broad range of subjects.
I also teach clinical skills across both pre-registration programmes, registered practitioners and healthcare and research staff
