Helen Franks is a Senior Lecturer for the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Science at the University of Salford. Helen has over 21 years of experience of working in higher education and is a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor, with a qualification Family Planning.
Helen has an academic interest in public health and evidence based practice an has experience both in England and Australia at national level and is particuarly interested in research looking at effective practice outcomes and also developing the requisite skills for advance practice roles in the field of nursing. Helen has experience as a critical reviewer and external examiner/verifier and is currently studying both counselling and coaching practice.
