Biography
I joined the University in 1996 when the Northern College of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Studies was incorporated into the University of Salford. My interests have since expanded from a clinical focus on children’s nursing, and specifically, neonatal intensive care nursing to supporting other aspects of healthcare professional practice. This includes successful programme and curriculum development initiatives and currently collaborative partnership working with external partner organisations.
Teaching
I enjoy teaching across a range of School programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level and participate in postgraduate supervision. My current interests are in health service clinical leadership and management, and evidence based children and young people’s nursing.
