Practice Education
Stay at the forefront of practice education in social work
High quality practice education is central to the provision of all professional qualification programmes in social work at the University of Salford. We work in close collaboration with a range of agencies in the state, not-for- profit and private sectors to provide placements for students. Our commitment to excellence in practice education is evident through our approach to learning about professional practice, the research that our staff have conducted and published and our engagement with national policy development.
Details of our approach and the regulations governing practice education can be found in the Social Work Practice Education Handbook
At all times, including whilst on placement social work students should adhere to the HCPC Guidance on Conduct and Ethics for Students, available here»
