F3 is a very busy ward with plenty of learning opportunities. Students are welcome to ring the ward or visit prior to placement.
We believe that the clinical placement on the Surgical Assessment Unit should be student centred and driven by their individual needs identified and agreed by the student and their mentor.
We will ensure the clinical placement will be an environment conducive to learning.
This will ensure the student ultimately accomplishes the status of becoming a competent practitioner.
