The Manchester Piano Quartet feature in next Chamber Series concert

The Manchester Piano Quartet are set to perform in the next Chamber Series concert.

The Manchester Piano Quartet perform:

  • Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor no.1
  • Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor no.1

The Manchester Piano Quartet comprises of BBC Philharmonic musician Simon Robertshaw (violin), alongside Mike Dale (viola) Peggy Nolan (cello) and Daniel Browell (piano).

The Chamber Music Mondays series at Peel continues with another performance, featuring musicians from the BBC Philharmonic. Bringing live classical music to the heart of Salford, this classical concert series is a new partnership between the BBC Philharmonic, the University of Salford, Salford City Council and Salford Community Leisure.

The programme will feature chamber ensembles formed from the BBC Philharmonic’s world class musicians and guest artists, performing a range of classical music, from well known gems to new, exciting pieces.

Entry to these concerts is by donation, which can be made at the door.  Proceeds from the events will support the new Salford Music Fund, aimed at supporting the continued development of music in Salford.

Concerts in the BBC Philharmonic Peel Hall series will start at 5.45pm and will take place on:
