The conference, which takes place from 9am until 4.30pm on Wednesday 4 March 2015, will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore the government’s vision for the future of health and safety.
They will hear from experts and about best practice case studies on how to develop simpler but more effective procedures that improve occupational health and safety practices. There will also be information on how to develop innovative health and safety policies that save significant costs.
The Future of Health and Safety Conference 2015 will feature a number of key speakers on the day, including Judith Hackett CBE, Chair, Health & Safety Executive (HSE), Teresa Budworth, Chief Executive, NEBOSH, and the University’s Carole Conroy, Senior Health & Safety Lecturer.
Delegates will travel from all over the UK to share best practice examples, network and listen to the presentations throughout the day.
Paul Bolton, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Saord Professional Development (SPD), said: “It will be a great day to showcase what Salford has to offer, and SPD hopes that there will be interest in PG programmes or further study as a result of delegates coming to the event.”
