Making Your Home and Garden Dementia-Friendly

This free event has been organised by the University of Salford's Dementia Design Group for people who have dementia, their families and carers.

Two- thirds of people with dementia live in their own homes;  the event is about sharing ideas on how small changes can be beneficial for someone living with dementia.

Simple things like how clocks are used, colour of toilet seats, types of tap, patterns on curtains and carpets, lighting, plants and gardening as well as some of the latest technology that people can use to keep themselves safe and independent will be discussed.
