Our Home Our Salford' in the Social Work Directorate of the University of Salford has organised this FREE event to coincide with Refugee Week. It will discuss issues such as female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage and honour-based violence.

Programme for the day:

10.00am: Registration.

11.00am: FORWARD will discuss FGM and present peer research.

12.00am: Ice & Fire Theatre Group.

1.00pm: Refreshments & poster viewing.

2.00pm: Nazir Afzal Chief Crown Prosecutor NW Crown Prosecution Service will discuss honour-based violence and forced marriage.

2.30pm: Speakers from Sexual Assualt Referral Centre at St Mary’s Hospital.
