You are invited to join the Salford Institute for Dementia for an evening with Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Dr John Zeisel and Joy Watson for an inspiring event designed to learn about the experience of living with dementia, on Thursday 13 November from 17:30 at the Chapman Building, University of Salford.
The Salford Institute for Dementia is committed to listening to and collaborating with people whose lives are affected by dementia and those who work to make a positive difference to living with dementia.
The event will provide people with the opportunity to share and learn what is the best way to make a difference to the experience of living with dementia; both now and in the future.
The evening will start with a short, powerful drama ‘Lost and Found’ written and performed by two graduates from the University of Salford. The drama is based on people’s experience of living with dementia. This will be followed by a debate with The Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Dr John Zeisel from the USA and Joy Watson a dementia activist.
