SCAW
SCAW is a UK-based duo specialising in bass clarinet and piano repertoire. The duo - Sarah Watts (bass clarinet) and Antony Clare (piano) - will be performing works by George Nicolson, Iain Matheson, Marc Yeats, Patrick Nunn, Mike Vaughan and Stephen Davismoon.
SCAW have performed extensively around the UK, including and also as guest artists at the World Bass Clarinet Convention in Rotterdam. They have had many new works written for them and have premiered works by composers, including Sir Harrison Birtwistle, Dai Fujikura, Piers Hellawell, Iain Matheson, Elizabeth Winters and Dave Bennett Thomas.
The concert will mark the launch of SCAW’s latest CD, which features many of the works heard in the performance:
