Prospective students are invited to the launch of the first MA in Playwriting in the UK to be run in formal partnership with some of the country’s leading theatres.

Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre, the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatre and the Octagon Theatre Bolton will teach two of the Master’s degree modules, with the remainder being taught at the University of Salford’s MediaCityUK facility, combining theoretical and practical based learning.

Launch event schedule:

7pm: Launch of MA in Playwriting – an opportunity to find out about the course and meet staff from the University of Salford and participating theatres.
8pm: Free masterclass with playwright Alistair McDowall, a winner of the Royal Exchange Theatre's mo Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
