In round one the team, made up of third year undergraduates Chris Mallon and Rebekah Mason, pitted their wits against a team from the University of Buckingham.

Competition was fierce and both teams performed admirably, but Chris and Rebecca were ultimately victorious. Their achievement is all the more impressive in light of the fact that the University of Buckingham made it through to the semi-finals of last year’s OUP competition.

Everyone at Salford Law School is proud of the mooting team’s achievement and we hope to report further successes throughout the year.
