Opening times

 

Clifford Whitworth Library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Information Support Desk is staffed from Monday - Friday, 8am - 7pm and Saturday - Sunday, 12noon - 6pm.

Clifford Whitworth Library is open as usual over bank holidays but not staffed.

Chapman pop-up library is open from 9am until 10pm, Monday to Friday only.

If you are only able to visit the library outside of these times please email us on library@salford.ac.uk 24 hrs in advance of your visit and we will have your books ready for you to collect at Clifford Whitworth.

The library is open from 7am to 10pm throughout the year except bank holidays.

The Information Support Desk is staffed from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Please note: you are required to show a valid University of Salford ID card to gain access to the building.

* For many courses no teaching takes place during inter-semester breaks. Please check arrangements with your tutors/school office.

** For the majority of students the academic year runs over two semesters, with most courses beginning in September and ending in May. A number of other courses start at different times of the year. For some students on courses run by the College of Health & Social Care, the academic year runs over three semesters.
