What’s happening?

From Monday 25th November for two weeks the Library will be distributing books across the University each day for you to find – a gift from us to you.

The books are yours to keep and when you have finished you can pass them on to someone else to enjoy.

Continue the story by sharing your find with us on Social Media using #FromSalfordWithLove - we're on Twitter and Instagram.

When you’ve finished this book, you can visit the Library to find your next read – we have a leisure reading collection on the ground floor by the Enquiry Desk. Just use Library Search to see what we have available.

Why?

All of the books have a special connection to Salford; from books by Salford alumni and academics, authors born and bred in the city, to recommendations from our staff.

We hope that finding this book will help you feel part of the Salford community but also inspire you and help you get lost in a new story. Reading for pleasure has been shown to improve wellbeing and support academic success.

Here’s the full list of books – you can find many of them in the Library so if you miss out why not visit to borrow a copy?
