If you are developing a new programme or module, we need to be involved at an early stage, to make an accurate and timely assessment of the learning resource requirements for supporting your students.

Completing the RS1(2) form

Once you have reviewed the Academic Quality Assurance Handbook, your Academic Support Librarian will work with you to complete the RS1(2) form prior to submission for Outline Approval.

The form has to be signed off by the University Librarian.

Developing online programmes?

It is especially important that any programmes you are developing which are delivered solely via Blackboard, or by distance learning (online), are fully assessed by the Library with regard to the IT, software and other support issues surrounding their delivery.
